Rory McIlroy topped the season-long standings and won the Race to Dubai for a fourth consecutive season, with the world No 2 securing Grand Slam victory at The Masters and winning the Amgen Irish Open during a memorable campaign.

McIlroy narrowly missed out a successful title defence at the season-ending DP World Tour Championship, where Matt Fitzpatrick edged victory in a play-off, with Robert MacIntyre, Marco Penge and Tommy Fleetwood among the other players to win on the DP World Tour this season.
